Nabaco, the leader in patented natural barrier technology and the developer of NatuWrap organic process aids and coadjuvants, announced the addition of Francois Girin to its board of directors.
With an esteemed worldwide career in chemical multinationals, including in crop protection and post-harvest solutions (especially as president and CEO of Decco Worldwide between 2007 and 2020), Girin brings a wealth of experience in post-harvest activities and a strong commitment to innovative agricultural practices.
Girin’s expertise will be invaluable as Nabaco continues to expand its technology platform of revolutionary products, including its flagship line, NatuWrap. Among other opportunities, these organic processing aids reduce the need for expensive chemicals, extend the storage and shelf life of produce, and provide farmers with more time and flexibility to manage their operations, ensuring positive returns for both the farm and the planet.
“We are thrilled to welcome Francois to our board,” said Jamie Strachan, CEO of Nabaco. “His global experience will be instrumental in our mission to revolutionize the agriculture industry by preserving fruit the way nature intended and pursue additional diversification.”
“I am excited to join Nabaco to help define vertical market and product strategies around its game-changing barrier science,” said Girin. “Together, we can provide next-generation tools to lower costs and build more sustainable practices to benefit producers and consumers alike.”
This addition marks a significant step forward for Nabaco as it continues to commercialize in the United States and EU, with more markets planned for later this year.
